Man charged with OUI drugs after found passed out behind the wheel

There have been at least four people arrested for OUI of drugs in New Bedford since Sunday.

A Dartmouth man was charged with OUI drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating after revocation of license for being a habitual traffic offender after he was found passed out in a vehicle Friday morning at 11:41 a.m in the 400 block of Hawthorn Street in New Bedford.

The 27-year old man was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital. A 28-year-old Dartmouth woman in the same vehicle also appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was also transported to St. Luke’s Hospital.

  1. This guy should do the right thing and walk into the ocean. He will only bring misery to those around him, just wait until he passes out behind the wheel and rolls into a schoolyard at recess. If he wanted to overdose on heroin I would gladly buy.
