New Bedford Police arrested Elias Centeio, 37, of 293 Hillman St., New Bedford, Friday, April 6, for the stabbing of a 31-year-old New Bedford woman Monday, April 2 in the 100-block of Amanda Avenue.
Centeio was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, assault to murder, mayhem and home invasion.
He turned himself in at Third District Court Friday, April 6. A warrant had been issued for his arrest.
