On Saturday the 12th of November at 8:00pm, Metro PCS located at 37 Rockdale Avenue in New Bedford was robbed. The lone 24 year old male clerk, stated that the suspect demanded money and iPhones after pointing a firearm at him. The suspect fled with a substantial amount of cash and several iPhones according to the clerk. The suspect fled on Rockdale Avenue towards Bolton Street.
Suspect is described as a dark skinned male, approximately 6′ tall, having a black mask, and wearing a dark colored hoody with hood over his head. Suspect was wearing a winter type coat and carrying a black bag. The firearm was described as being black and silver in color.
Clerk was not injured. Detectives will be reviewing surveillance video and are asking anyone with additional information to please call police at 508-99C-RIME (2-7463) or at tip@newbedfordpd.com
