Police are investigating an armed robbery which took place at the Lucky 7 Convenient Store located at 701 Cottage Street in New Bedford.
Saturday evening at approximately 6:50pm, a middle age white male, wearing a grayish colored hoodie and black pants entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. The male was holding a knife while asking for the money. The male fled with a small amount of cash. Both the 46-year old female clerk as well as a 19-year old female clerk were not injured in the incident.
