“BPD Photo of the Day: Small Act of Kindness Caught on Camera in Roxbury!

The Boston Police Department wishes to extend our thanks and gratitude to the passerby who shared a video of one of our officers as he stopped to assist an elderly female with her bags while working a paid detail on Elm Hill Avenue in Roxbury.

The photograph above was taken from the video which was recently posted on social media along with the statement: ‘It’s the small, kind gestures that go a long way.’

We couldn’t agree more.”
