The popular attraction for families has announced on its Facebook page that the 2020 season has been officially canceled due to Covid-19. The statement is as follows:

“Even royalty cannot beat the coronavirus.

While King Richard’s Faire is a land of make-believe and fantasy, we simply cannot escape the reality of COVID-19. We are sad to announce the cancellation of our 2020 season, and thank our magnificent team and cast for all their input and creative ideas. Unfortunately, there simply is no alternative to ensure the health and safety of all.

We are already planning for the most magnificent 40th anniversary season imaginable. To our loyal Faire fans who have been with us for so many years – some from the start in 1982 supporting our family-owned business, we thank thee and we will see you next season.
Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again!”
