The Board of Directors of the Southeastern Massachusetts Veterans Housing Program, Inc. – better known locally as the Veterans Transition House, would like to thank the Iron Order Motorcycle Club, the Silent Few Chapter of Fairhaven, for their generous donation in memory of LCpl. Matthew Rodriguez, a local Fairhaven United States Marine who was killed in action in December of 2013.

This is the second year the Silent Few have held a fundraiser in honor of LCpl. Matthew Rodriguez. The Silent Few is the Fairhaven Chapter of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club and is a nonprofit organization. The Annual Fundraiser brings together Iron Order Motorcycle Clubs from all over New England with residents of the SouthCoast to celebrate the life and sacrifice of LCpl. Rodriguez. In the past two years they have donated $13,000 to the Veterans Transition House through their hard work.

The Veterans Transition House is honored to have the support of both organizations who are working to create positive change in the community.
