The Greater New Bedford unemployment rate is much higher than the rest of Massachusetts, but believe it or not there really are a lot of jobs available for qualified applicants. Sometimes the barrier to a new job can be the lack of information on available job openings.

02. Baker/Cake Assistant – Artisan Bake Shop
Artisan Bake Shop is seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our bakery team. We are an upscale bake shop and cake design studio. To join our team you must have a flexible schedule and available all weekends. Experience in a professional kitchen is required: at least experience 6 months in a production kitchen, restaurant kitchen, bake shop, or fast food. Must be able to work independently, on a time schedule, work in tight quarters, follow instructions, memorizing recipes and methods for week to week production and have excellent customer service skills.
