Horta’s Restaurant in New Bedford is closing its doors

In a Facebook posting this afternoon the restaurant announced that today would be their last day and invited folks to come down for a last meal. No reason for the sudden closing was given.
Horta’s had a fine reputation for quality food at a very affordable price and was a beloved local place where you could always get an excellent piece of fish. This is a developing story.
