PAY: $14.20/hr – $18.79/hr

Operates pick-up trucks, dump trucks, small sanders and panel trucks with a rated capacity of three tons or under and passenger automobiles. Subject to call for emergency work during any given twenty-four (24) hour work period, such as any emergency the Commissioner feels would impair the safety of the general public, i.e. ice or snowstorms. Required to notify Storm Control Superintendent immediately when snow begins to fall and black ice complaints come in. May assist on radios and phones during a full snow emergency or be assigned to snow

Knowledge equivalent to a High school graduate or GED. Ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Possession of a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and good driving record. Mandatory CORI (Criminal Offender Record Investigation) background check per City Council Ordinance effective May 14, 2013.
