Help Wanted: Seasonal Beach Parking Lot Attendant/Supervisor

CITY OF NEW BEDFORD  SEASONAL BEACH PARKING LOT SUPERVISOR $11.00hr (Weather Permitting) PARKS, RECREATION & BEACHES

Collects fees and tickets. Maintains an accurate log of daily sales. Picks up trash in parking lots.  Provides security within assigned area to limit thefts and vandalism of vehicles occupying parking  lots property. Maintains garage and/or parking lot to ensure they are kept clean and orderly.

High school or GED preferred. Familiar with customer service professional interactions. Ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer. Valid Massachusetts driver’s license is required. Subject to a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.

Ensures all cars parked in beach parking lots have purchased and/or displayed parking pass.  Keeps hourly/daily count of all vehicles entering the beach facilities. Routinely keeps parking lots clear of trash and debris. Subject to a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.
