Greater New Bedford Opioid Task Force to host drop-in centers Feb. 22 and March 1

If you or someone you know is struggling with opioid addiction, the Greater New Bedford Opioid Task Force drop-in center is available to provide assistance and support.

The drop-in center will be open from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 at Pilgrim United Church, 634 Purchase St. At this center, those attending can access assistance and support services, including information on inpatient and outpatient treatments, recovery services, family support and Narcan training and distribution.

A week later, from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at PAACA, 360 Coggeshall St., another drop-in center will be held, with the focus on assisting family members and loved ones of those struggling with addiction. The Drop-in Center will host representatives from area agencies who provide assistance and resources for people affected by opioid use.
