3rd Annual Upper William Street Neighborhood Festival 2018

Join us in celebrating the Arts, Music, History of New Bedford, this year’s event is growing, Lots more music and events for everyone This year we are expanding the Festival area to include Eighth Street from William to Union There will also be food trucks and exhibitors and musicians in the City Hall Parking Lot
The Festival is a celebration and collaboration between the 3 Church buildings, the First Unitarian Church, the First Baptist Church, The First Universalist Church (Gallery X) and AHA! New Bedford. Although their use as houses of worship has dwindled, they are now also active as centers for Art, Culture, Community gathering. Our goal is to show how vital these buildings can be and how much they all offer the Community.
The all-volunteer group of organizers for the Festival have welcomed all exhibitors, nonprofits, and businesses, free display areas on streets to set up their tables and booths. There will be a rich array of Arts and Crafts, There will be a full schedule of music, theatre, performance, etc. There will also be demonstrations and a chance to meet many of the talented artists in the area. ALL FOR FREE.
The entertainment this year is top notch, The Jethroes, Toe Jam Puppet Band, Morrissey BLVD, South Coast Brass Band, New Bedford Harbor Sea Chantey Chorus, Pumpkin Head Ted, Hot Club Cheese Roll, Pallas, UU FOLK ENSEMBLE, Way Cool Sunday School, also LIVE Artists, and a full day of fun for the Kids at the First Unitarian Church. We will offer and post final schedules before the event.
Volunteers wanted for the day of the event would be greatly appreciated. Helping Crafters set up and clean up, etc.
