Enjoy Free April Staycation Events and Storywalk at Brooklawn Park This Spring

The Ricketson Nature Center at Brooklawn Park has several events planned for this spring. See the flyers below for full details. There will be a Storywalk based on the book “Squish!: A Wetland Walk” (Ages 4-8) and will be staged in a loop around the wet meadow. This Storywalk will be available April 17th – 25th. See the attached flyer along with directions as to where the Ricketson Nature Center is located.

Also, the Ricketson Nature Center is now open EVERY Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 – 5:30 PM. All are welcome to come and view the exhibits. Lots of fun for children.

Lastly, while at Brooklawn, folks can enjoy the recently blazed Ricketson Nature trails through the woodlands. And don’t forget, the playground and splash pad for the children when the weather warms up. Brooklawn Park is an under utilized gem, don’t overlook it!
