On Sunday evening, February 14, 2016, between the hours of 9pm and 9:30pm dozens of vehicles, and some homes, were struck by BB’s. The targeted areas were around Brooklawn Park and Normandin Middle School. Anyone with video surveillance in the area, and sees anything suspicious, can contact Det. “I went to leave this morning and noticed my vehicle has been shot. I live in the North End of New Bedford near Normandin School. I called the police and they stated there have been 29 other reports. I just drove down Felton St. and saw three more cars with smashed windows from the shootings.” – Michael.
