Dorchester man arrested for trafficking 77 grams fentanyl on North Front Street

A Dorchester man was arrested and charged with trafficking Fentanyl on Saturday morning around 11:30 AM.

Members of the New Bedford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit stopped the vehicle he was driving in the area of Tinkham Street and North Front Street as result of an investigation. Detectives located 77 grams of Fentanyl, 8.4 grams of cocaine, and $312.00 in cash as result of the stop. Arrested and charged was Junior Rios Rivera, 36 of Dorchester, MA.

1. Trafficking Fentanyl
2. Possession with intent to distribute class B cocaine
