Dartmouth’s Bishop Stang High School announces their top ten graduates

Congratulations to the Top Ten students of the Bishop Stang High School Class of 2021: Ryan Pianka, Noelle Vincze, Paul Zellar, Julia Rosenburg, Olivia Gowell, Liam Downey, Megan Perry, Alexis Dutra, Allison Baptiste, and Patrick Vescio. The Top Ten students were recognized this year on May 25 at Bishop Stang High School during the annual Senior Awards and Scholarship Presentations.

Additional recognition will occur at the Class of 2021 Graduation, where Salutatorian Noelle Vincze will welcome the graduates and guests, and Valedictorian Ryan Pianka will deliver an address at the 59th Commencement Exercises. The guest speaker at the graduation ceremony will be Gail Fortes ‘89, Executive Director of the YWCA of Southeastern Massachusetts. Bishop Stang High School’s Baccalaureate Mass is planned to be held on Thursday, May 27th with Graduation ceremonies to be held on Friday, May 28th outside at the Hugh Carney Stadium field. [1/10] Ryan Pianka, of Portsmouth, RI – Northeastern University
Ryan is a National Honor Society student who participated on the Math Team, in the Philosophy Club and the Science Squad, conducted math tutoring, and is Bishop Stang’s Class of 2021 Valedictorian.

[2/10] Noelle Vincze, of Lakeville, MA – Maastricht University, Netherlands
Noelle is a National Honor Society student. She was on the Field Hockey, Lacrosse, and Winter Track Teams and was a member of the Business Club, Student Ambassadors, Trivia Club, and Green Team. Noelle is Bishop Stang’s Class of 2021 Salutatorian.

Paul is a National Honor Society student who was a member of the Golf Team and the Captain’s Club, and participated in the Business Club.

[4/10] Julia Rosenberg of Dartmouth, MA – Tufts University
Julia is a National Honor Society student who was on the Volleyball, Tennis and Track Teams. She was also on the Debate Team and involved as a Peer Mentor.

[5/10] Olivia Gowell of Wareham, MA – University of Vermont
Olivia is a National Honor Society student who was on the Cross country, Indoor Track, Lacrosse and Field Hockey Teams. She participated in Mock Trial, the Math Team, Diversity Council, Green Team, Soul Sistas, Knitting Club, and did work for My Brother’s Keeper.

Liam is a National Honor Society student. He participated in Track & Field, Student Council, Debate, Theatre, the Trivia Team, Math Team, Philosophy Club, Fellowship, and the Builder’s Guild.

[7/10] Megan Perry of Westport, MA – Salve Regina University
Megan is a National Honor Society student who participated on the Field Hockey, Winter Track, and Lacrosse Teams. She was also a Peer Mentor.

[8/10] Alexis Dutra of Tiverton, RI – Tufts University
Alexis is a National Honor Society student as well as a Student Ambassadors and Peer Mentor. She played on the Volleyball, Basketball, and Math Teams, and was involved in Campus Ministry and the Future Medical Professionals Club.

[9/10] Allison Baptiste of Carver, MA – Boston University
Allison is a National Honor Society student. She was on the Track, Cross Country and Basketball Teams and participated on the School Newspaper and Debate Team.

[10/10] Patrick Vescio of Dartmouth, MA – University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
Patrick is a National Honor Society student who was active on the Student Council and the Sailing Team.
