Dartmouth woman seeks public’s help in finding woman that saved her father’s life in New Bedford

“Please help me find the woman that saved my father’s life.

My father suffers from chronic asthma, and while on the road today he had an asthma attack, and proceeded to drive straight to the hospital. Unfortunately, my dad did not make it to the hospital because he passed out behind the wheel due to low oxygen. He was on the corner of Dartmouth St and Rockdale Ave.

He was completely unconscious, but the woman who found him checked to see if he had a pulse and called 911 right away. While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, my dad’s phone rang and the woman answered it (it was my mom, she was waiting for him to pick her up at work) she told my mom that 911 was called ad she stayed with him the entire time while the off-duty police officer [the officer was Jonathan Fegundes] revived him.

My dad does not remember anything and my mom was in a state of shock and forgot the woman’s name. I want to find her so I can thank her from the bottom of my heart and for being by my father’s side. A complete stranger with a beautiful heart, and proof that there is still kindness left in this world.

I truly believe she’s my father’s guardian angel. All I ask is please share this post so I can find who she is! Thank you ?!!!!” -Kerry Ann Gaudencio.
