“On Monday, September 7, 2020 at approximately 5:20 p.m., Dartmouth Police responded to High Hill Road, after receiving a call regarding an erratic operator.

The calling party alleged that the female operator of a 2002 Saturn nearly struck two (2) pedestrians, one of whom was pushing a baby stroller. In addition, the calling party also informed police that he had followed the female operator to a residence on Pine Island Road, and would remain there until officers arrived.

Upon arrival, officers identified the female operator as Luann ROSEMAN, 58, of Dartmouth.

As a result of the investigation that followed, which included field sobriety testing, ROSEMAN was placed under arrest by Officer Christopher SAIKALI, and charged with operating under the influence of liquor (2nd offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Chief Brian P. LEVESQUE praised the calling party for the commendable effort they put forth in making sure that ROSEMAN was identified.
