We recently had someone report that they received several text messages from a scambag posing as the President of Dartmouth Youth Soccer.
In the body of the messages, the scambag asks the recipient to purchase several gift cards from local stores, and then send him/her clear pictures of the cards. He/She goes on to say that the cards will be used as “incentive” for his/her hard-working staff members.
As Dartmouth Youth Soccer, as well as any other reputable organization, DOES NOT use this fundraising method, we strongly encourage anyone who receives a message like this to delete it and block the sender.
