Dartmouth Police Department sternly reminds residents about NOT depositing syringes at drop box

“STERN REMINDER!!!

While cleaning out our Drug Drop Box this morning, I once again came across a bag of syringes.

Though it is VERY clearly posted on the sign attached to the top of the box that syringes ARE NOT accepted, I find myself ONCE AGAIN having to put this reminder out.

C’mon people, please be responsible when using this drop box, because we would hate to see this beneficial service come to a screeching halt, just because a few people are too lazy to read a sign.

Also, please keep in mind that everything in our lobby is recorded.

For more information on how to properly dispose of syringes, please contact your local Board of Health.
