Dartmouth Police Department arrests man and woman for narcotics

On Friday, August 27, 2021, Dartmouth Police narcotics detectives, arrested John OLIVEIRA, 61, of Sodom Road, Westport, and Bernadette SAUCIER, 58, of Highland Avenue, Dartmouth, in conjunction with an extensive narcotics investigation.

As a result of their arrests, approximately 1.25 grams of suspected cocaine, 4 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and pills, believed to be Oxycodone, were seized. In addition, $371 in cash was also seized.

This is the second time in just over a month that OLIVEIRA has been arrested for narcotics violations by Dartmouth Police narcotics detectives.

As a result of this incident, OLIVEIRA was charged with possession with intent to distribute Class B (subsequent offense), two (2) counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, two (2) counts of possession of a Class B drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and resisting arrest.

SAUCIER was charged with possession of a Class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
