Dartmouth Indians defeat SBRHS Raiders in the 2nd Annual SBRHS Basketball

Last night the Dartmouth Indians took on the SBRHS Raiders in the 2nd Annual SBRHS Basketball Tournament. Dartmouth started the game off with a basket and never gave up the lead for the entire game. Matt Craig hit a 3 point shot at the end of the first buzzer giving them a 19-10 lead.

The Indians were called for 10 fouls in the first half to 3 on the Raiders but were still able to outscore the other team 19-15 in the second quarter ending the half with the lead 38-25. The Raiders stepped up their defense in the third quarter, keeping the Indians to 13 while scoring 14 for themselves bringing the lead down to 11 for Dartmouth.

Dartmouth struck quickly in the fourth getting the lead up to 17, but the Raiders fought back bringing them down to a 9 point lead, this wouldn’t last long as the Indians closed out the game on top with a final score of 66-50.

Two players from Dartmouth were named to the All-Tournament Team , #13 Keith Rose and #10 Matt Craig. Matt Craig was also named the tournament MVP.

SBRHS 10,15,14,11 = 50
