Cooling stations at libraries open in New Bedford on Saturday and Sunday

Due to this weekend’s high temperatures, cooling stations will be open in New Bedford today, Saturday, July 20 and tomorrow, Sunday, July 21.

All five libraries are open Saturday, July 20, as usual, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Main Library – 613 Pleasant Street
Casa Da Saudade – 58 Crapo Street
Howland-Green Branch Library – 3 Rodney French Blvd
Lawler Branch Library- 745 Rockdale Avenue
Wilks Branch Library – 1911 Acushnet Avenue

Due to the high temperatures expected for tomorrow, Sunday, July 21, the Howland Green Branch Library, Lawler Branch Library, and Wilks Branch Library will be open Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Lawler Branch Library- 745 Rockdale Avenue
Wilks Branch Library – 1911 Acushnet Avenue
