“On Thursday, Nov. 7 my son was walking home near Parker and Cedar St. and this guy wearing a ski mask approached him.

The guy said he was in a gang and was recently released from jail and that he just wanted to listen to music. My son then proceeded to do what he was told hoping he’d go away or not hurt him.

My son went to play some music and this guy knocked my son to the ground, snatched his phone and earbuds and ran. Thank God that’s all he did because it could’ve ended really badly.

He has tattoos all over his hands. He had a blue sweatshirt with a red shirt under it and black shorts. He had dark skin, was hin and of average height. My son is 17 and works hard for his money. To push a young boy down like that so you can steal from him is just disgusting.

If we can figure out who you are, we’ll make sure you get what you deserve!!”- Melissa Heroux.
