Cocaine worth more than $10,000 taken off the New Bedford Streets; Fall River Man Charged with Trafficking

New Bedford Police took 127 grams of cocaine off the city streets Friday with a street value of more than $10,000 and arrested Malcolm Perez, 24, of 27 Clement St., Fall River, for trafficking in cocaine (more than 100 grams.) The arrest was part of an investigation into narcotics deliveries in the city.

The vehicle that Perez was driving was stopped in the area of 48 Coggeshall St. Police found 127 grams of cocaine and $160 in Perez’s possession.

The arrest was made at 5:11 p.m.
