FUNCTION: Manages, plans and implements supportive recreation programs for all ages and abilities while performing supervisory and administrative functions related to daily operations of the Andrea McCoy Recreation Center.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Parks Recreation & Beaches.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervises part-time and seasonal employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plans, implements, coordinates, supervises and evaluates the overall scope of supportive recreation for members and patrons of the Andrea McCoy Recreation Center and auxiliary classrooms;
• Performs duties related to the daily operations of the Andrea McCoy Recreation Center (expected to carry out entire operations with minimal oversight from superiors);
• Develops and plans ongoing fitness programs, arts and crafts classes, cultural programs, one-day events, and educational programs; instructs classes when needed and assists/mentors staff instructing programs;

7. Driver #3810954 – Taxi Cab Company. Must have High School Diploma and an experienced driver with a Valid Driver’s License. There are 3 positions available for first, second and split shifts.
FUNCTION: Operates computer equipment to produce complete and accurate data reports. Administers databases for department as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general supervision of an employee of a higher grade.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitors and controls electronic computer to process business or other data according to operating instructions. May control computer to provide input or output service for another computer under instructions from operator of that unit. Operates on-line or off-line machines according to written or oral instructions to transfer data from one form to another, print output and read data into and out of computer. Participates in technical projects. Recommends changes in programs, routines and quality control standards. Prepares all records and reports for review. May develop operating methods to process data; assists in the development of useful computer programs. Keypunches and edits; assists general public, office staff and City employees. Provides clerical support to the department as required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory CORI (Criminal Offender Record Investigation) background check per City Council Ordinance effective May 14, 2013.
KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Duties require working knowledge of Excel, Access, Word. Knowledge of office administration. Equivalent of two to three years’ experience in computer operations, literacy and programs.

Collects fees and tickets. Maintains an accurate log of daily sales. Picks up trash in parking lots. Provides security within assigned area to limit thefts and vandalism of vehicles occupying parking lots property. Maintains garage and/or parking lot to ensure they are kept clean and orderly.
High school or GED preferred. Familiar with customer service professional interactions. Ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer. Valid Massachusetts driver’s license is required. Subject to a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.
