Bristol County Sheriff’s Office mourns loss of sheriff who passes away suddenly

Everyone at the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office is sending along their prayers for Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department – Boston, MA Officer Robert Murphy, who passed away suddenly last week.

When one Sheriff’s Office suffers a loss, we all do, that’s why it wasn’t a surprise at all to see officers from across Massachusetts at the services Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. Lt. Shawn Costa and the Honor Guard represented the BCSO at the services.

Please keep Officer Murphy’s family and our brothers and sisters in Suffolk in your thoughts.

About Joe Silvia

When Joe isn't writing, he's coaching people to punch each other in the face. He enjoys ancient cultures, dead and living languages, cooking, benching 999#s, and saving the elderly, babies and puppies from burning buildings. While he enjoys long walks on the beach, he will not be your alarm clock, because he's no ding-a-ling.
