Bristol County Sheriff’s Office offers FREE IDs at COAs across Bristol County

“We’ve made these free senior IDs at COAs in towns across Bristol County, from Attleboro to Acushnet. We’re thrilled to head to the Acushnet Council on Aging and Senior Community Center on Oct. 1 and helping our local seniors be safer.”-Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.

“FREE SENIOR IDs BY APPOINTMENT

Thursday, October 1st from 11:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. in the outdoor pavilion at the Acushnet Senior Community Center.

The Bristol County Sheriff’s Office has launched a free public safety program for seniors. In just a few minutes, they can create a Senior ID card that has your name, photo and emergency contact.

It’s great as a second form of identification, and everyone is offered lanyards so seniors can wear it around their necks. This free program is offered in partnership with COAs and TRIAD groups across the Bristol County area.

You must have an appointment, walk-ins cannot be accommodated, 508-998-0280.”-Acushnet Council on Aging and Senior Community Center.
