Bristol County Sheriff’s Office kicks off annual K9 Toy Drive for kids

If you’re heading out to do some Black Friday shopping today, please consider grabbing an extra gift to support our annual K9 Toy Drive.

Last year, generous donations allowed the K9 team to provide toys for about 75 children receiving foster care services from Justice Resource Institute Foster Care and Adoption Justice Resource Institute in Berkley.

This year, there are roughly 80 children ranging in age from newborn to 17 that we’re hoping to help have a bright holiday.

The K9 team will be accepting donations at the Sheriff’s Office, 400 Faunce Corner Road in Dartmouth, on Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, so feel free to stop by, drop off a toy and meet our awesome four-legged officers on Dec. 5.
