Boston Police Department seeking public’s help in identifying individuals in violent hit and run
The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in effort to identify the individuals in the enclosed video in relation to an assault and a hit and run in South Boston.
The facts and circumstances of the original incident are as follows: At about 8:09 PM on Monday, November 9, 2020 officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call for a pedestrian struck in the area of Dorchester Street and W. 4th Street in South Boston. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated he was assaulted by several unknown males riding dirt bikes and four wheelers. The victim stated the individuals punched and kicked the victim, knocking him to the ground where they continued to run him over injuring his arms, shoulders, back and head. The victim stated the individuals then fled the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
