The NFL pre-season is coming to a close this Thursday with the first game of the NFL regular-season fast approaching.  On 9 September, the NFL will kick-off the first game of the season with a rematch of the 2009 NFC Championship game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints. The game is next Thursday so start making your plans now!

The 2010 NFL season should be an exciting one.  Brett Favre is coming back for another year and the Terrel Owns/Chad Ocho Cinco show should be fun to watch in Cincinnati.  There is a great crop of young rookies in Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, C.J. Spiller, Ryan Mathews and Dez Bryant.  These guys should make an immediate impact on their teams.

Where will you go to watch the 2010 NFL season?  If you are from New Bedford or the surrounding areas we’ve put together a nice lists of bars for you that offer incentives to watch the game at their venue.  Having a TV and cable is simply not enough to make this list! We’ve ranked these bars by a number of important factors; the number of High-Definition (HD) TVs and games that can be played at once, whether they have the NFL package and if they have great food and drink specials.  We’ve also tiered these by best bars and excellent bars.
