Beacon Compassion’s recreational marijuana agreement to be reviewed by New Bedford City Council on Thursday

Beacon Compassion’s recreational marijuana host city draft agreement is scheduled to be reviewed by New Bedford City Council on Thursday. The agreement has already been reviewed and received a favorable recommendation by the Special Committee on Cannabis Regulation & Host Community Agreement Review on September 26, 2019.

Beacon Compassion is hoping to open a recreational marijuana retail business at 366 Hathaway Road in New Bedford. Currently, New Bedford does not have a retail store that sells recreational marijuana although several have applied.
