“The Bristol Community College Active Minds program met with Chief Myers and has dropped off Sensory Emergency Kits for the Fairhaven Police Department’s cruisers.

These kits are available for children that we encounter who may be in a stressful situation, find it stressful to have dealings with law enforcement, or who may be in crisis.

These kits were created in recognition of Autism Awareness Month. Thank you, Bristol Community College!” -Fairhaven Police Department.
