Baby Chloe

Baby Chloe

Chloe Olivia Harding was born September 6, 2010, to parents Lindsay and Harrison Harding.  On Tuesday, January 11, this resilient infant was admitted to Children’s Hospital Boston, where she was diagnosed with cancer.  At four months of age, Chloe is the youngest child in the state of Massachusetts with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia (ALL).

Chloe’s family resides in Rochester, MA, where both of her parents have spent their adult lives devoting themselves to the people of the town.  Over the past eight years, Lindsay, a volunteer emergency technician, and Harrison, a volunteer emergency medical technician and firefighter, have spent every waking moment with their call devices by their side so they could assist with local emergencies.

Over the past week, the pair have had to leave their call devices, their jobs, and their family behind to care for Chloe.  These two people, who have given so much to so many, would never ask anyone for anything under normal circumstances.  The Hardings, however, are not faced with normal circumstances.

On behalf of the Chloe Harding Fund, we ask that you give in any way possible to help care for our beloved little one.  Chloe will  begin treatment for this disease immediately, spending the next month of her life at Children’s Hospital Boston.  Medical expenses will soar, as will the living expenses for a family with both parents unable to work as they care for their daughter.

Chloes Night

On Saturday, February 26 at 6:00 P.M., the Highlander of Acushnet will welcome a community coming together to support the battle of baby Chloe.  Please join us for Chloe’s Night, a benefit dinner supporting the medical and living expenses incurred by the Harding family.  The night will include dinner and dancing, as well as raffles and a silent auction.
*Semi-formal dress is encouraged

The Hardings have dedicated their lives to helping people, and now, we all have an opportunity to help them.  After just four months on Earth, their daughter Chloe faces a battle for her life.  It is a battle she cannot win by herself, but it is one we can help her fight.  Every donation helps her in a meaningful way, and whether you are able to donate or not, you can always keep Chloe in your prayers and close to your heart.
