Acushnet firefighters rescue cat stuck in tree

The Acushnet Fire Department posted the following:

“On Thursday, The Acushnet Fire Department responded to the classic “cat stuck in tree” call. Firefighters determined that there was a very narrow window of space to place their aerial. Firefighter/Paramedic Tom Farland skillfully placed the ladder and removed Skittles from a height of approximately 30 feet.

While some may find humor in this animal rescue, and we know it can be the punchline of a joke, the felines family was very happy. Skittles is a rescue that just recently began being introduced to the outside.

Pictured with Firefighter Farland and Skittles is owner Jamie Gray and her son Vincent.”
