Yesterday morning at approximately 8:45am the Cumberland Farms at 2012 Acushnet Ave. in New Bedford was robbed at knifepoint. The clerk was not harmed.
The suspect entered the store and went to an aisle and retrieved a can of Lysol. He then put it on the counter and when the clerk began to ring it up, he pulled out a knife and demanded money. He fled the store in an easterly direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
