Aaron Bookman was acquitted of shooting two men in 2011. According to the Standard Times:

A witness identified Bookman as the gunman who shot five or six rounds at two men Tuesday while they were walking near the intersection of Summer and Mill streets, according to paperwork filed by New Bedford Police Detective Shain Ramos.

One victim was shot in both legs; the other was treated and released from St. Luke’s Hospital for a gunshot wound to his right foot, court records said.

Police are also searching for Angel Acevedo, 24, of New Bedford who is reportedly the girlfriend of Kathleen Rivera, one of the 4 people being charged with obstruction of justice.
