70-year old man arrested by Wareham police for making threats to kill a police

According to the Wareham Police Department, at about 11:30 a.m. 70-yar old Richard Lepage of Douglas was arrested by Wareham police on a warrant and was also charged with threats to kill a police officer.

Police report that Mr. Lepage had allegedly relayed to a Wareham town official that he wanted to kill a police officer and that he had the means to do it. After that information was given out to police officers, Mr. Lepage was located by Officer Robidoux on Main Street near Cedar Street and placed under arrest, for the existing warrant and was charged with the threat. He was processed at Wareham Police headquarters and then transported to Wareham District Court.
