39-Year old New Bedford man charged with OUI early Sunday morning

New Bedford police arrested 39-year old Florencio Riz of New Bedford for OUI-Liquor and for leaving the scene of an accident Sunday morning.

Police responded to the reports of a motor vehicle crash and located the driver in the area of 145 Nye Street at 3:37 am. Officers on the scene determined that Florencio Riz was over the legal limit for operating a vehicle.

There were no injuries reported.
