Who are the New Bedford Bay Sox?
The New Bedford Bay Sox encourage you to participate in the 2013 Bay Sox Foundation golf tournament. The tournament will be held at Allendale Country Club in Dartmouth on Wednesday, July 10th beginning at 11:30 am, and is followed by a dinner with prizes, raffles and a silent auction. Please read the brochure attached for more information on the tournament, registration and sponsorship opportunities. Save the date and join the 2013 Bay Sox players & coaches! Event includes a round of golf, cart, prizes, and a meal after the match. There will also be a silent auction with rare sports memorabilia. The New Bedford Bay Sox are a collegiate summer baseball team of pro prospects in the thirteen-team New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) that is affiliated with Major League Baseball. The team’s mission is to:
- promote and advance the amateur sport of baseball
- create opportunities for athletes, interns, and volunteers in baseball
- provide family-friendly entertainment to the local community
- promote and benefit other charities through the sport of baseball.
