25-year old woman charged with OUI after hitting light post in New Bedford

At 2am on Friday, New Bedford police officers were investigating reports of a person driving drunk.

According to a witness on the scene, the driver hit a light post on Cottage Street fled on foot. Police arrested her a short time later.

A 25-year old Tiffany Rose Demoura of Manchester, New Hampshire was arrested is being charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident.
