25-year old Miguel Caraballo of New Bedford is being charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol after police discovered his car stopped in the middle of the road early Sunday morning.
At 5:30 am on Sunday, New Bedford police officers observed a vehicle stopped and not moving in the area of 408 Park Street. According to police, they attempted to alert the operator to move but the driver didn’t respond. Police approached the vehicle and after observing an open container in the vehicle placed the driver under arrest.
Miguel Caraballo is being charged with OUI-liquor, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and obstructing traffic.
