Friday, June 23rd

Provincetown Portuguese Festival 2017 – June 22 @ 5:00 pm – June 25 @ 7:00 pm

Provincetown welcomes people from around the world who come to celebrate Portuguese culture and our proud seafaring heritage at the annual Provincetown Portuguese Festival & Blessing of the Fleet. The Festival is four days of live music, dancing, parades, incredible food, games and more. With over 30 events and activities with many of them free, there is something for everyone to enjoy! FREE Portuguese Kids show for Festa Do Pico (New Bedford) – 9:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Saturday, June 24th

Fairhaven Homecoming Day Fair 2017 – 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Fairhaven’s largest annual event features about 175 booths of handmade crafts and delicious foods in addition to live entertainment, an art exhibit on the west lawn of the Unitarian Church, and children’s activities, including the very popular fire engine rides. NBNW Cleans Riverside Park – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

“Please join us in cleaning Riverside Park. Please bring gloves and garbage bags. I will provide them if you can not bring them. I will also be getting biohazard containers for any hypodermic needles found. Let’s make a safe, clean place for children to enjoy this summer!” Details here.

Symphony Tales : A Music and Literacy Program – 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

The Friends of the New Bedford Free Public Library and New Bedford Symphony Orchestra presents Symphony Tales A Music and Literacy Program for Pre-School Children. Details here.

Boston Pickle Fair – 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

“Pickle and fermentation vendors will come together for a country fair celebrating the art of pickling. A dillightful day of music, demonstraitions, home pickeling contests, games and samples from some all star pickle companies!” Full details here.

The Steel Yard’s 5th Annual Fire Camp Festival (Providence) – 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

“Join us for the 5th Annual Fire Camp Festival and the Steel Yard Open House this summer! We’re inviting spectators to spend the day the Steel Yard, engage in our foundry and experience the magic of the industrial arts first hand! Our gates will be open for this fun, free and family-friendly event. Mass Attack vs. Connecticut Roller Derby (Fairhaven) – 5:15 pm – 10:00 pm

MARD will host their third doubleheader home game of 2017 at Carousel Family Fun Center on Saturday, June 24th. Mass Attack’s All Stars are taking on the Connecticut Roller Derby All Stars. The second game, MARD’s own Bloody Bordens will be going up against the Yankee Brutals. Full detals here.

9th Annual Fire Truck Show (Fall River) – 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

SouthCoast Flea Market – 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

“Bring yourself, bring a friend; come on down Sundays 9AM – 4PM. Fill your stomach at the snack bar and leave with a bag filled with antiques to nick-knacks. Indoor flea market for just $.50 per person and children under 12 are free. Street and parking lot parking.” Details here.

Glass Slipper Royal Ball – 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Cinderella and her royal court cordially invite you to the Glass Slipper Ball! Join us at Greasy Luck Brewery for a meet and greet with all of your favorite fairytale characters!
