A near perfect weekend is ahead in terms of precipitation and temperatures. Possibly a few clouds, but no precipitation is forecasted. While there will be brisk overnight temperature of 37 degrees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday lows will be between 47-55 degrees. With day time highs of from 58-68 degree on Saturday and Sunday respectively, it’s going to be t-shirt weather for sure!

The Felix Brown Band is comprised of musicians from different walks of life and different musical tastes. Music fused with rock, blues, r&b, jazz and funk was the sound of the band regardless if they played the Rolling Stones or Stevie Wonder. This sound and energy caught on and spread throughout the Northeast beyond their imagination. At New Bedford’s hottest new spot: The Greasy Luck Brewery at 791 Purchase St. New Bedford, MA.

Volunteer for Earth Day Cleanup! (8:30am-12:00pm)
Sign up Now! Hosts AFC Urgent Care will provide breakfast. Free t-shirts to all volunteers, free reusable water bottles (while supplies last),free lunch provided by Domino’s Pizza. Oxford Book Haven & Cafe Book Sale (Fairhaven) (9:00am-1:00pm)
We have a large selection of books–most are 50 cents. We currently have a special section for our DOLLAR- A-BAG-BOOK SALE. Coffee, tea, soda and home-made coffee breads are available. We welcome anyone to join us in working on our puzzle. Computers and WiFi is available to the public. 357 Main Street, Fairhaven.

Book Collection for Annual Westport Free Public Library (10:00am)
The Friends of the Westport Library are seeking donations of gently used books, CDs and DVDs for their book sales in August and September. Spring Story & Craft Time at the NB Public Library (11:00am-12:00pm)
All ages welcome! Join us in the Children’s Room on the first floor as we read fantastic stories, dance to some wacky music, and create adorable crafts. New Bedford Free Public Library, 613 Pleasant St., New Bedford.

New Bedford Antiques Center at Wamsutta Place (11:00am-6:00pm)
Antiques, collectibles, and history all in one place! The Center is home to over 200 dealers and consigners featuring antiques and collectibles from early Americana to Mid-Century to today’s treasures. With specialty stores within the Center which include a flower shoppe boutique, an ephemera store, the cast-iron store and vintage clothing. The Center is also the largest antique consignment venues in the Southcoast Region. So if you have one piece or an estate full of treasures , the Center will preview your items and consign them. Beginner DLSR Course w/ Miss Z Photography (2:00pm-4:00pm)
Are you still shooting in “auto” mode? Want to get the most out of your “expensive” camera? Then this class is for you! It’s a 2 week course – Saturday April 15th from 2 PM to 4 PM and Saturday April 22 from 2 PM – 4 PM. We will cover the exposure triangle – speed, aperture (“depth of field”) and ISO. We’ll go over white balance, composition and lighting. There will also be an overview of night photography. Each student will also be invited to a private FB group where you can continue to ask questions and get support long after the class is finished. Todd Baptista returns with four internationally-established vocal group harmony acts in this year’s Doo Wop installment for a trip back to the days when rock ’n’ roll was young! With classics like “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes,” “Only You,” and “The Great Pretender,” the Platters are the most recognized vocal group of rock ’n’ roll’s first years.
