10 Things to do this Weekend (Dec. 30 – Jan. 01)

image_pdfimage_print

After a rainy, windy and frigid Thursday brought by a blizzard that we only got the edges of we are going to have a rather pleasant weekend. Compared to other parts of New England and Massachusetts which got as much as 18 inches of snow, we got off very lightly. Now that the storm has passed, we’ll be getting plenty of sunshine all weekend. Overnights and mornings will be typically chilly for this time of year. However, daytime temperatures will reach as high a 47 degrees, so altogether a rather decent weekend conducive to taking advantage of all the things going on in greater New Bedford and beyond.

Lastly, a piece of very important advice in light of recent sad news: beware of carbon monoxide when running heaters and please take precautions.

As always, click on the title for more or detailed information on the event. Most of the events were pulled from our event calendar where you can find hundreds of local area events each month. The event calendar is FREE, so if you are a local business, and not taking advantage of FREE publicity, shame on you! Are you a local business and want to sponsor this high traffic, weekend guide?
