SEASTREAK KEEPS SUMMER FUN ROLLING ALONG WITH TAKE-A-RIDE TUESDAYS AND WACKY WEDNESDAYS

Seastreak is making it easy for day-trippers to enjoy Martha’s Vineyard at its best – after the tourists have gone back home.

The express ferry from New Bedford is offering special promotions for same-day round trips on Tuesday and Wednesday from New Bedford to the Vineyard through the end of the cruising season.

On Take-a-Ride Tuesdays, senior citizens over 65 can get there and back for just $29, and on Wacky Wednesdays, the cost for an adult round-trip shrinks to $34.

“These mid-week cruises are an opportunity for travelers to have the magic of the island all to themselves,” said John Silvia, Assistant Operations Manager/Marketing. “Seastreak takes pride in providing quality service that meets the needs of our customers.”

Seastreak offers high-speed catamaran services to points in Manhattan from Central New Jersey and seasonal ferry service to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven on Martha’s Vineyard. Kids 12 and under ride free on most trips. New this season is safe, comfortable and professional service by Tremblay Bus Company from South Station in Boston to Seastreak’s New Bedford terminal. The catamarans are also available for private charter, and special event services are offered year round.
