The public is cordially invited to attend the New Bedford Preservation Society’s 42nd Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at 7 p.m., at the New Bedford Main Library, Third Floor Meeting Room, 613 Pleasant Street, New Bedford. After a brief business meeting, society president Mark P. Fuller will present the annual Plaque and Elm Awards, which recognize historic properties in the city and those individuals or organizations who have done an outstanding job in either the ongoing maintenance, preservation, restoration or adaptive reuse of their historic property. A PowerPoint presentation will feature before and after photos of the properties. Free.
