This year’s educational theme is “Symmetry”

Thousands of local elementary students from all over the South Coast area will descend on the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center on Monday, March 3, 2014, when the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra presents two sold-out performances of its annual Young People’s Concerts, at 9:30am and 12noon. This year’s educational theme is “Symmetry” and students will hear symmetry in classical music, see symmetry in vibrant images from nature and explore symmetry in geometric shapes and transformations. Students have submitted examples of symmetry that will be displayed on a large screen suspended above the orchestra as part of the concert.

Please note: No flash photography allowed during the performance.
