NBSO to kicks off 2014-2015 concert season with the 99th “SPELLBOUND”

Prepare to Be Spellbound!

New Bedford Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce SPELLBOUND, its 99th season! Under the direction of Maestro David MacKenzie, entering his 9th season with the NBSO, the 2014-15 concert season promises to be full of magical performances by the NBSO and its internationally renowned guest artists.

The season begins with Spellbound on September 20, 2014, followed by Entrancing Showpieces on October 19, A Thanksgiving Musical Feast on November 30, two performances (matinee and evening) of Family Holiday Pops on December 20, Romantic Spells on February 14, 2015, Mesmerizing Masterpieces on April 11, and Enchanted Places on May 9. All performances will be presented at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in downtown New Bedford with the exception of the October 19 performance, which will take place at St. Julie Billiart Church in North Dartmouth. Evening performance times at The Z for this season’s classical concerts will be 7:30pm. Dr. MacKenzie will continue his popular pre-concert talks in the Penler Space prior to each classical performance.
